Swingaway:

The concept is absolutely great. It works and does what it says it will do. BUT! The problem is, it's not very durable. Have ordered 2 in less than a year. Both broken. Net, bungee cords and frame connectors, all broken.

Wheeler Dealer Soft Toss Machine:

Great concept, but once again, not very reliable. Less than twenty hours of use and won't pop the balls up no more than 3'. Also will just cut off for no reason. You have to flip the switch for it to start up again.

Hey Greg, can you send me your email address through the Contact Us tab on SwingSmarter.com? I'd like to talk more about the issues you're having with the SwingAway and Wheeler Dealer.

I PURCHASED A WHEELR DEALER IN DECEMBER OF 2014 FOR USE IN SPRING 2015. TOOK TO TEAM PRACTICE AND IT STOPPED AFTER 5 MINUTES USE. I PUT IT ASIDE AND KEPT GOING.... HAVE NOT TRIED IT AGAIN SINCE. HAD EVEN FORGOT ABOUT IT TIL I RAN ACROSS THIS SITE.

I have two at my facility and I spend about $100 per year upkeep. One machine has probably 500,000 swings on it. They should rename it Mr..400

Don't know about the Swing Away, because I had already built my own before seeing this concept commercially.

However, I am disappointed with the Wheeler Dealer. The balls are always getting stuck, and the separator seems to be the problem, it gets to where it will not release the balls if there is any weight against it. My kids will not use it, it just sets in the corner.
